Built By The Royal Military Of British as well as contribution from The Muslim Malay Society. It’s Heritage traces back from the year 1961. Built in 1961 by Muslim members of the British army, this old generation mosque was renamed Tentera Di-Raja in recognition of their contributions. It was officially opened on 30th March 1962 by Yang Di-Pertuan Negara, Mr Yusof Ishak. Located in the West and close to the National University of Singapore, its majestic position at a hill’s summit and further distinguished by its minaret topped by a gold-painted dome, encapsulates its rich history.
