A beautifully design environment to let the birds walk/fly and dance around freely is truly a sight to behold. This place hold tonnes of species from different regions of the world. If you manage the timing properly then you can view the feeding of the eagles and the bird show. And best of all depending on the season you can enjoy the dancing of the peacocks. The Bird Park houses more than 3000 birds representing more than 200 species in an enclosed aviary. 90% are local birds and 10% were imported overseas
A green sanctuary right in the middle of the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan. This bird park is semi open; with a big net covering a big space which allows for many birds to roam around freely within the big net (not locked up in cage). That said there are still quite a number of birds that are kept in cages such as the hornbills, predatory birds, parrots of some kinds etc.
