Orang Asli Museum

Short Brief

The Orang Asli Museum is a museum in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia that showcases the history and tradition of the indigenous Orang Asli people. It includes a library and a small theater hall, and was opened on 29 September 1987 by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. The museum showcases much of the history and traditions of the Orang Asli community. Many everyday tools and musical instruments are made from a very interesting environment. It was established in 1987 and has since become a reference point for historical events and artifacts for the Orang Asli of Peninsular Malaysia. The museum also facilitates a lot of research and study by students and lecturers. As well as having an exhibition gallery, mini theater hall, library and gift shop
